About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and commercially driven Senior Designer & Merchandising Manager to lead the design, product planning, and merchandising strategy across multiple product categories including Bags, Garments, Fashion Accessories, Jewellery, Gift Boxes, and Hampers. The ideal candidate should understand fashion trends, marketplace requirements, and consumer buying behavior while coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Collection Planning
- Develop seasonal and monthly product lines for marketplaces like Myntra, Amazon, Shopify, and other online platforms.
- Create product assortments based on market trends, customer insights, and sales performance.
- Build category-wise launch calendars and ensure timely product releases.
Design & Creative Direction
- Lead the design and development of collections across:
- Bags
- Women's Garments
- Fashion Jewellery
- Fashion Accessories
- Gift Boxes & Hampers
- Research global fashion, lifestyle, and gifting trends.
- Develop mood boards, color stories, themes, prints, trims, fabrics, and packaging concepts.
- Ensure collections align with the brand identity and target audience.
Boho Collection Development
- Drive the creative direction for Boho-inspired collections.
- Identify emerging Bohemian fashion trends, materials, embellishments, and silhouettes.
- Create coordinated collections that work across multiple product categories.
Gift Box & Hamper Development
- Conceptualize innovative gifting solutions for festivals, weddings, corporate gifting, and special occasions.
- Design attractive packaging, product combinations, and premium presentation.
- Work closely with sourcing and packaging teams to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Merchandising & Business Planning
- Prepare assortment plans based on historical sales and market demand.
- Coordinate with sourcing, production, inventory, and buying teams.
- Ensure product availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels.
- Analyze sales reports and recommend product improvements and replenishment plans.
Marketplace Planning
- Develop exclusive collections for:
- Myntra
- Amazon
- Shopify Website
- Other online marketplaces
- Understand marketplace customer preferences and pricing strategies.
- Work with cataloguing and marketing teams for successful product launches.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor designers, merchandisers, sampling teams, and product developers.
- Coordinate with production, sourcing, quality, photography, cataloguing, and marketing teams.
- Conduct regular product review meetings and monitor project timelines.
- Ensure all departments work together to achieve launch schedules and business targets.
Vendor & Product Development
- Work with vendors for sampling and new product development.
- Source new materials, trims, fabrics, and accessories.
- Negotiate costs while maintaining quality standards.
Performance & Reporting
- Present collection plans and seasonal strategies to management.
- Monitor sales performance and product profitability.
- Track KPIs including sell-through, margins, inventory turnover, and product success rates.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on collection progress, launches, and business performance.
Required Skills
- Strong fashion design and merchandising knowledge.
- Expertise in product planning and collection building.
- Excellent understanding of e-commerce marketplaces.
- Trend forecasting and consumer insight analysis.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Vendor management and sourcing experience.
- Commercial understanding of pricing and profitability.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
Preferred Experience
- 4–8+ years of experience in fashion design and merchandising.
- Experience with fashion, lifestyle, gifting, and accessories brands.
- Strong exposure to Myntra, Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience handling multiple product categories simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage end-to-end product development.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
