Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and related financial activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal and statutory audits.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
- Review invoices, expenses, journal entries, and supporting documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in handling audits and coordinating with external auditors will be an advantage.
Preferred
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com qualification is an added advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, shipyard, or project-based organizations is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
