Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the DDU-GKY training centre.
- Ensure smooth functioning of training, mobilization, counselling, assessment, and placement activities.
- Monitor centre performance against project targets and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate trainers, mobilization team, placement team, MIS and support staff.
- Ensure timely student mobilization, counselling, enrolment and batch formation as per project requirements.
- Monitor student attendance, discipline, retention and overall engagement.
- Ensure proper maintenance of student and centre-related records and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Project/State/Regional team regarding centre performance, targets and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with DDU-GKY guidelines, SOPs, quality standards and audit requirements.
- Monitor infrastructure, classrooms, labs, hostel/food facilities (where applicable) and other centre facilities.
- Regularly review MIS data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with the MIS team for uploading and updating project-related data on the required portals.
- Monitor assessments, certification and other statutory/project requirements.
- Coordinate with the placement team to ensure achievement of placement and post-placement targets.
- Handle grievances and concerns of students and staff and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regular team meetings and review individual/team performance.
- Maintain proper documentation for inspections, audits and monitoring visits.
- Ensure effective coordination with government officials, project authorities and other stakeholders during visits and inspections.
- Identify operational gaps and take corrective actions to improve centre performance.
- Ensure the centre meets all quality, compliance, mobilization, training and placement targets.
Required Skills:
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of skill development projects, preferably DDU-GKY.
- Good understanding of MIS and MS Office.
- Strong coordination, reporting and documentation skills.
- Target-oriented approach with good problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and centre operations independently.
Experience & Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM will be an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in skill development/education/training projects, preferably DDU-GKY, PMKVY or similar government-funded projects.
- Candidates with experience in managing training centres and handling government project compliance will be preferred.
