Job Description 1: Multi-Spindle Side Drill Operator & Draftsman
Role Overview:
We are looking for a precise and detail-oriented Multi-Spindle Boring Machine Operator who can also double as our production Draftsman. In this role, you will be responsible for converting 2D/3D furniture designs into highly accurate manufacturing drawings (millimeter-level) and setting up our 4-spindle side drilling machine to execute those designs perfectly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting: Create and check detailed technical drawings and assembly layouts using AutoCAD and Sketchup specialized cabinet software.
- Hardware Alignment: Ensure exact marking and positioning for modular hardware fittings (minifix, dowels, hinges, and drawer slides).
- Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate the multi-spindle side drilling machine according to the drafted production sheet.
- Precision Control: Adjust pneumatic clamps, set precise depths using digital counters, and maintain strict millimeter (mm) tolerances to ensure zero error during final onsite assembly.
- Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning and basic mechanical maintenance of the drilling spindles and pneumatic lines.
Qualifications & Skills Needed:
- Education: ITI (Draftsman Mechanical / Machinist / Fitter) OR a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Software: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D layout planning is a must).
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a modular furniture factory handling production drawings and panel-boring machinery.
- Core Skill: Must be able to read complex technical drawings instantly and possess a strong understanding of cabinet construction principles.
Job Description 2: Automatic Edge Banding Machine Operator
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and alert Edge Banding Machine Operator to manage our high-speed automatic edge bander. The ideal candidate must ensure seamless finish quality on linear panel edges, maintaining a high speed of production with zero component damage or glue rejection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Feed panels accurately into the automatic edge bander and manage settings for different panel thicknesses (18mm, 25mm, etc.) and edge band tapes (0.8mm, 2mm).
- Quality Tuning: Fine-tune critical machine stations including pre-milling, end-trimming, fine-trimming, corner rounding, and scraping units to achieve a seamless, premium finish.
- Glue & Temperature Control: Monitor glue pot temperatures, adhesive flow, and pressure rollers to prevent glue lines or tape lifting.
- Material Handling: Handle delicate surfaces (high-gloss, acrylic, ombre PU, or laminates) with care to avoid chipping or scratching.
Qualifications & Skills Needed:
- Education: 10th/12th Pass with rich experience, or ITI (Carpenter / Fitter / Machinist).
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience running automatic edge banding machines in a modular kitchen or wardrobe factory.
- Core Skill: Quick eye for detail to immediately spot edge-chipping, improper corner rounding, or glue overflow, and the technical skill to adjust the machine blades accordingly.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
