We are looking for an experienced Engineering CAD Specialist with strong expertise in Electrical Wiring Harness Design Support, Siemens Capital Harness, and SABER administration to join our engineering digitalization team. The candidate will play a key role in supporting engineering users, troubleshooting complex CAD/PLM-related issues, managing engineering tool environments, and contributing to the future roadmap of wiring harness documentation, modeling, and data management solutions.
The role requires close collaboration with global engineering teams, suppliers, PLM experts, and digital product teams to ensure a stable and efficient virtual product development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering CAD & Application Support
Provide L2/L3 support for Electrical Wiring Harness design applications, primarily Siemens Capital Harness and SABER.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex user issues related to wiring harness design, documentation, and data management.
Analyze recurring issues and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to resolve tool-related challenges.
PLM & Engineering Systems Administration
Configure, administer, and maintain Siemens Capital Harness and SABER environments.
Support integration between Electrical CAD tools, PLM platforms, and engineering applications.
Ensure engineering data consistency, quality, and compliance across systems.
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.
Solution Development & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to studies, investigations, and implementation of future-state PLM and Electrical CAD solutions.
Support modernization initiatives related to wiring harness documentation, modeling, and lifecycle management.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and engineering efficiency improvements.
Assist in defining best practices for CAD and PLM usage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product Development, Electrical Engineering, PLM, Manufacturing Engineering, and Digital IT teams.
Collaborate with global stakeholders across India and international locations.
Support Agile delivery teams in planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to IT security, data protection, and compliance standards.
Support audit requirements and internal control frameworks.
Maintain high standards of engineering data governance and virtual product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
6–8 years of experience in Engineering CAD, Electrical CAD, or PLM Support.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Siemens Capital Harness
SABER
Experience in system administration and configuration of Electrical CAD applications.
Good understanding of:

Harness Documentation Processes
Electrical Engineering Workflows
Experience supporting engineering users in a production environment.
Knowledge of PLM concepts, product data management, and engineering change processes.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
