Salary Range - 20000 - 23000 /- month
Duties
- Material handling: Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and other items within a facility.
- Loading and unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, and other transport vehicles.
- Material storage: Stack and organize products in designated storage areas, often following specific instructions and using proper techniques for stability.
- Inventory management: Use equipment like RF scanners to track inventory, count stock, and help ensure order accuracy.
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare orders for shipping or delivery.
Safety and maintenance
- Equipment checks: Perform daily inspections of the forklift and other machinery to ensure it is in safe working order.
- Basic maintenance: Perform minor repairs and regular maintenance, such as cleaning or refueling, and report any issues that require professional attention.
- Safety adherence: Follow all company policies, OSHA standards, and other legal guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for themselves and others.
