Role Description:
Design, configure, code, test and deploy Salesforce solutions. Design and configure Salesforce solutions as per recommended best practices, scalability and performance expectations considering Salesforce system resources and limits.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, code Salesforce products and solutions
- Engage with project PM, Solution architect, BA and customer’s technical team to understand requirements and design the technical solution
- Define the technical design and specifications of the solution by translating the functional design and business requirements
- Configure and develop the solution and interfaces as per the design and established best practices
- Configure and deploy standard and custom reports, dashboards and snapshots
- Define the test plan, test cases and conduct testing of the configured solution
- Manage the testing and deployment of the solution from development to test and production
- Support the development of enhancements and change requests
- Lead and manage a team for the design, development and support of module(s) / function(s)
- Co-ordinate with customer’s applications and IT teams for design, development, testing and deployment of configured solutions
- Support presales teams in technical response to RFPs, effort estimations and demo configurations
- Participate and support in design and development of pre-built solutions
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of Salesforce products / solutions
- Conduct technical workshops / sessions for internal teams to share knowledge internally
Required Experience and Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Visualforce, Apex, LWC, SLDS, Workflows, Aura, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Hands-on experience in building Workflows in Salesforce
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design & development
- Experience in Agile delivery and Scrum
- Salesforce Certification(s). Platform Developer I Certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of development experience in Salesforce
- Solid technical knowledge of Salesforce products and solutions – preferred Sales, Service, Field Service, Einstein Analytics, Communities
- Strong knowledge of Process Builder, SOQL and SOSL queries, Reports, Dashboards and Snapshots
- Integration experience using SOAP, REST APIs and Salesforce Connect and other middleware tools
- Data Migration using Import Wizard, Apex Data Loader or other data migration tools
- Knowledge of Development tools, IDEs, and configuration management and version control tools
- Change Request Management, issue tracking and defect management process and tools
- Sound understanding of Salesforce development best practices, architecture standards and SFDX
