Food & Beverages Assistant (M / F )
A Food and Beverage (F&B) Assistant is a front-of-house hospitality professional responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience. They assist with daily restaurant or banquet operations by greeting guests, taking orders, serving meals and drinks, and maintaining dining area cleanliness.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Welcome guests, present menus, explain daily specials, and assist with their selections.
- Order Processing: Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff or bar.
- Food & Drink Service: Deliver orders promptly, serve drinks, and assist with pouring and pairing.
- Table Maintenance: Perform mise-en-place (table setup), clear used dishware, replace linens, and wipe down tables.
- Hygiene & Safety: Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and maintain the cleanliness of dining rooms and service stations.
- Billing & Inventory: Assist with basic billing, point-of-sale (POS) operations, and inventory restocking.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and carry trays or multiple plates at once.
- Time Management: Multitasking and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with F&B operations, basic wine pairings, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Certifications: Many roles prefer or require a valid Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
