About the Role
Waveloom Audio Solutions is looking for passionate and detail-oriented Music Analysts with a strong understanding of music and excellent listening skills.
As a Music Analyst, you will listen to music tracks and perform structured musical analysis based on the guidelines and tools provided by the company. This role is ideal for musicians, music producers, music students, sound engineers, and individuals with a strong ear for music.
Key Responsibilities
* Listen to and carefully analyse assigned music tracks.
* Identify musical elements such as genre, mood, instrumentation, tempo, key, harmony, rhythm, structure, and other musical characteristics.
* Provide accurate musical annotations and descriptions according to project guidelines.
* Maintain consistency and attention to detail across all assigned work.
* Complete assigned daily and weekly productivity targets within the required timelines.
* Review and correct work when required based on quality feedback.
* Attend mandatory training or team meetings when scheduled.
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company platforms, projects, data, workflows, and client information.
Requirements
* Good understanding of music theory and musical terminology.
* Strong listening and analytical skills.
* Ability to identify instruments, musical styles, moods, and structural elements by ear.
* Basic understanding of harmony, chords, rhythm, tempo, and key.
* Prior experience in music production, sound engineering, performance, composition, or music education is an advantage.
* Music students and qualified musicians are encouraged to apply.
* Must have a computer/laptop, reliable internet connection, and good-quality headphones or earphones.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow project guidelines.
