Ruby on Rails Developer (RoR) – AI-Driven Development
We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer who is passionate about modern software development and actively uses AI-powered coding tools to build scalable applications and accelerate development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Build clean, scalable, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features efficiently.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, debugging, documentation, and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and deployment processes.
- Optimize application performance, security, and database efficiency.
- Write reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails framework.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, MVC architecture, and database design.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Git, and cloud deployment workflows.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on usage of AI development tools such as:
- Cursor
- Claude Code
- GitHub Copilot
- ChatGPT
- Other AI coding assistants and automation tools
- Ability to independently build projects using AI-assisted workflows.
- Understanding of modern frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Problem-solving mindset with strong debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Redis, Sidekiq, or AWS/GCP.
- Knowledge of AI integrations, APIs, or automation workflows.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Portfolio/GitHub showcasing projects built with AI-assisted development.
