TERRITORY COVERAGE
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the following districts in the Jammu Division:
- Jammu
- Kathua
- Samba
- Poonch
- Rajouri
- Udhampur
PRODUCT PORTFOLIO
The ASM will manage sales and market development for the following Bull Fit product lines:
- PVC Pipes & Fittings: UPVC, CPVC and SWR pipes and fittings for agricultural, plumbing and construction use
- Garden Pipes: Flexible garden hose pipes for domestic and agricultural irrigation applications
- Column Pipes: High-strength rigid column pipes for borewell and submersible pump installations
- 10-Layer Water Storage Tanks: Premium multilayer water tanks offering superior strength, UV resistance, and hygiene for domestic and commercial use
ROLE SUMMARY
The Area Sales Manager will be the primary commercial driver for Aqua Masters (Bull Fit) across the assigned territory. This role demands a proactive sales professional who can build and sustain a strong dealer/distributor network, achieve revenue targets, and expand brand presence in both urban and rural markets across the Jammu Division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for all Bull Fit product lines across the territory.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, agricultural, and government project segments.
- Drive volume growth for PVC pipes, fittings, garden pipes, column pipes, and 10-layer water tanks in all six districts.
- Monitor competitor activity and pricing, and provide timely market intelligence to the management.
Dealer & Distributor Network Management
- Appoint, onboard, and manage dealers and sub-dealers across Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Rajouri, and Udhampur.
- Maintain healthy trade relations and ensure timely order fulfilment and payment collections.
- Conduct regular market visits and beat plans to cover all key retailers, plumbers, and contractors in the territory.
- Resolve dealer grievances and escalate issues promptly to maintain channel satisfaction.
Brand Building & Promotions
- Coordinate with the marketing team to deploy hoardings, point-of-sale materials, and digital promotions across the territory.
- Engage with plumbers, masons, contractors, and architects to build brand advocacy at the influencer level.
- Promote the 10-layer water tank range as a premium product to housing colonies, hotels, and government bodies.
Reporting & Administration
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports, market visit reports, and competitor analysis to the reporting manager.
- Maintain accurate records of dealer databases, outstanding payments, and pipeline opportunities.
- Forecast monthly demand and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
- Participate in regional sales review meetings and contribute to territory business planning.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc. preferred). MBA in Sales & Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of field sales experience in building materials, PVC pipes, sanitary ware, paints, or related construction products.
- Prior experience working in Jammu & Kashmir market is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a dealer/distributor channel.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Jammu Division geography, trade routes, and market dynamics.
- Ability to manage multiple districts independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with basic CRM or reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
- Fluency in Hindi and Dogri; Urdu/Kashmiri proficiency is an advantage.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
