About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong backend expertise to work on data processing, analytics, and AI/LLM-driven applications. This role involves handling large datasets, building backend services, and integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into data workflows.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Python-based backend systems, performing data preprocessing and analysis, and supporting end-to-end data pipelines. Basic knowledge of frontend technologies is expected for integration purposes.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone with a strong data mindset, backend development skills, and an interest in modern AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, normalization, and transformation of large datasets
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive insights
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI)
- Build and manage data pipelines for efficient data flow and processing
- Work with AI/LLM and Generative AI models for data-driven applications
- Design and manage databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, etc.)
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
- Provide basic support in frontend (React/Next.js) for integration when required
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Python
- Backend development using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Solid understanding of data preprocessing, data cleaning, and normalization
- Experience in data analysis and handling large datasets
- Knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB
- Understanding of REST APIs and system design
- Hands-on experience with AWS deployment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
AI / Data Science Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Data Science concepts
- Experience with Generative AI / LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
- Understanding of embeddings and semantic search
- Familiarity with prompt engineering
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and data analytics
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in building scalable data pipelines
- Exposure to ML models and model integration
- Basic understanding of React.js or Next.js
