Assistant Store Keeper – Job Description
Position: Assistant Store Keeper
Department: Stores / Warehouse
Reports To: Store Keeper / Store In-Charge
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing materials and goods.
Maintain stock records and inventory registers.
Issue materials as per approved requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store Keeper.
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
Verify quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
Assist in stock audits and physical inventory counts.
Prepare store-related documents, reports, and records.
Follow company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software.
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
