Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Job Responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair, and maintain press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Operate conventional and CNC machines such as milling, grinding, lathe, EDM, and Wire EDM
- Perform fitting, assembly, and precision measurements
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure dimensional accuracy
- Conduct preventive maintenance of tools and dies
- Work closely with production and quality teams
Required Skills
- Knowledge of tool room operations
- Experience in press tools, molds, or die maintenance
- Ability to use measuring instruments
- Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
- Basic CNC/EDM programming knowledge preferred
- Good problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Automotive / precision manufacturing industry experience
- Hands-on experience with EDM and Wire EDM machines
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is an added advantage
