About the Internship
We are looking for driven, locally-based Business Development Interns to be the face of theqt in their city. In this "On the road" role, you will physically visit local cafes, fine-dining restaurants, and pop-ups to pitch our SaaS platform and onboard them to our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch & Demo: Visit local restaurants to demonstrate our app-free QR concierge and live Kitchen Display System (KDS).
- Onboard Clients: Guide restaurant owners in selecting a SaaS subscription plan (Weekly Starter, Monthly Growth, or 60 Days Pro).
- Activity Logging: Use your custom Executive Dashboard to perform GPS-tagged check-ins and log a minimum of 20 verified restaurant visits per month.
Important Note on Compensation (Please Read Carefully)
This is a highly lucrative, hybrid compensation model designed to reward hard work and successful closures.
1. Fixed Communication & Travel Allowance (₹1,000/month):
To qualify as an "active" intern and receive this fixed base allowance, you must log a minimum of 20 verified restaurant pitches/visits per month via our GPS dashboard. This is paid purely for your field effort, regardless of sales.
2. Incentives & Commissions (Uncapped & Recurring): You will earn high upfront bounties and recurring monthly commissions for every active restaurant you onboard, based on our transparent subscription plans:
- Weekly Starter (₹799): Earn 15% upfront + 15% weekly recurring commission (for up to 8 months).
- Monthly Growth (₹2,199): Earn 25% upfront + 15% monthly recurring commission (for up to 8 months).
- 60 Days Pro (₹3,999): Earn 30% upfront + 20% recurring commission (for up to 8 months).
(Example: Closing just 20 restaurants on the Monthly Growth plan builds you a passive recurring income of over ₹6,000/month on top of your upfront bounties!)
