The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer billing and payment transactions accurately and efficiently in the jewellery showroom. The role includes managing cash, card, UPI transactions, maintaining daily cash records, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate invoices and process customer billing accurately.
- Handle cash, debit/credit card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
- Maintain daily cash collection and prepare end-of-day cash reports.
- Verify bills, discounts, and offers before processing payments.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions and receipts.
- Reconcile cash and payment records with the accounts department.
- Maintain records of advance payments, refunds, and exchange transactions.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and customer data.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
