Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and attend all patients and visitors politely
- Register OPD/IPD patients in HMS system
- Generate OPD slips and ensure correct doctor allocation
- Guide patients to respective departments/consultants
- Handle patient queries and provide accurate information
- Coordinate with Patient Counsellors for conversions and admissions
- Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in patients
- Ensure proper admission process for IPD patients
- Collect and record patient details accurately (name, age, contact, address)
- Ensure correct billing entry and handover to billing team
- Inform patients about consultation fees and hospital policies
- Maintain queue discipline at reception
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately
- Follow up with missed calls or inquiries if required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk
- Ensure no patient leaves without proper guidance
- Escalate patient complaints or issues to seniors immediately
- Coordinate with IPD, OPD, lab, pharmacy, and other departments
- Ensure proper handling of Ayushman / insurance patients (basic coordination)
- Maintain daily records and reports as required
