Job Summary
We are looking for a goal-oriented and empathetic Education Counselor to join our team at OSS Education. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for students aiming to study or work abroad. You will guide them on selecting the right English proficiency and standardized tests (PTE, TOEFL, GRE, Duolingo, etc.), assist them in purchasing authenticated exam vouchers at competitive rates, and help them take the next step toward their global education goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counseling & Lead Conversion: Handle inbound inquiries via direct walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and emails. Counsel students on their international education timelines and recommend the ideal exam pathways.
- Voucher Sales & Promotion: Educate candidates on the financial benefits of booking their exams through OSS Education’s discounted voucher system (PTE, TOEFL, GRE, CELPIP, OET) to drive successful conversions.
- Application & Booking Support: Walk students step-by-step through the process of utilizing vouchers, setting up exam profiles, and choosing test dates within our 48-hour booking windows.
- Target Management: Consistently meet or exceed monthly counseling, enrollment, and voucher sales targets.
- Database Maintenance: Accurately log client details, follow-ups, and transaction histories into our CRM database.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with the operations, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a frictionless student booking experience.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Hindi is mandatory.
- Sales & Convincing Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to handle objections, build trust quickly, and close sales.
- Industry Awareness: A solid baseline understanding of the study-abroad landscape, including basic test formats (e.g., what makes the PTE different from TOEFL or IELTS).
- Technical Comfort: Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), and basic digital communication tools.
- Resilience: Comfortable working in a high-energy environment with a target-oriented mindset.
Pay: ₹11,060.03 - ₹35,463.71 per month
