So, what's the gig?
At 2 Pints Brewing, we're looking for a Cashier who is accurate, friendly, and dependable. You'll be the final touchpoint in every guest's experience, ensuring every transaction is smooth, every bill is accurate, and every guest leaves with a smile. This role is about more than processing payments—it's about delivering excellent service, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting seamless restaurant operations.
The good stuff you'll own
- Deliver smooth guest transactions: Process cash, card, UPI, and digital payments accurately while providing warm and professional service.
- Ensure billing accuracy: Generate guest bills, verify discounts, promotions, taxes, and settlements, ensuring complete accuracy before closing each transaction.
- Handle cash responsibly: Maintain the cash float, reconcile collections, prepare end-of-shift cash reports, and ensure zero discrepancies wherever possible.
- Support daily operations: Coordinate with the service team, kitchen, and managers to resolve billing queries quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain POS excellence: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, update payment records, and report any technical issues promptly.
- Keep records organised: Maintain proper documentation of bills, refunds, voids, complimentary items, and shift settlements as per company procedures.
- Protect company assets: Safeguard cash, payment devices, and confidential financial information while following internal controls and SOPs.
- Champion compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, taxation requirements, and audit standards.

- 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier in a restaurant, bar, café, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Experience working with POS systems and handling multiple payment methods.
- Comfortable managing cash, card, UPI, and digital payment reconciliations.
- Strong numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with guests.
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working flexible shifts, weekends, public holidays, and late evenings.
