- Supervise, guide, and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and support staff.
- Provide technical leadership and act as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure issues.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities for team members.
- Oversee the identification, diagnosis, and resolution of infrastructure-related issues (e.g., servers, networking, storage, etc.).
- Ensure that the team meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution times.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure problems, escalating issues as necessary
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of infrastructure components.
- Ensure that proactive monitoring, alerts, and automated responses are in place to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular system maintenance, patching, and updates to maintain a secure and reliable environment.
- Provide ongoing support for critical infrastructure systems, ensuring they are continuously optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize network performance, reduce downtime, and improve system availability.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for the infrastructure.
- Ensure that backups are regularly performed and that disaster recovery tests are conducted.
- Work with other teams to ensure that business continuity plans are in place and are effectively tested.
- Ensure the security of the infrastructure by applying best practices for firewalls, encryption, and access control.
- Monitor infrastructure for potential security vulnerabilities and address them promptly.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to maintain the security posture of the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure the organization receives the best service and pricing.
- Oversee procurement processes for infrastructure hardware and software.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on their adoption for infrastructure improvements.
- Assist in managing the infrastructure support budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Provide cost-effective solutions for infrastructure expansion or upgrades.
- Monitor infrastructure-related expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., development, application support, cybersecurity) to ensure integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss infrastructure requirements, improvements, and challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all infrastructure systems, processes, and configurations.
- Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance, incidents, and improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for infrastructure-related processes.
Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
