We are a growing [Bakery/café ]focused on delivering excellent dining experiences with a strong emphasis on Continental cuisine. We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Continental Chef to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of Continental dishes (e.g., pastas, grills, salads, soups, sauces, sandwiches, desserts).
✅ Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion control, and presentation.
✅ Plan and innovate new menu items and daily/seasonal specials.
✅ Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards per FSSAI guidelines.
✅ Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, commis chefs, and helpers.
✅ Manage mise en place, stock, inventory, and food cost control.
✅ Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred)
Proven experience in Continental cuisine (e.g., CDP / Commi / Chef)
Strong understanding of European cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
