About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and certified Electrician to support our IT hardware, network, and CCTV deployment teams. In our industry, stable and safe power is the foundation of reliable IT infrastructure. With a year of practical experience under your belt, you will be responsible for setting up the electrical requirements for server racks, UPS systems, CCTV networks, and commercial IT setups. You will ensure that all installations meet standard safety protocols and provide clean, uninterrupted power to our clients' critical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Wiring: Route and install electrical wiring, conduits, and power distribution boards for client server rooms, office spaces, and retail environments.
- Power Backup Setup: Install, connect, and test UPS systems, inverters, and battery banks for IT hardware setups, ensuring fail-safes are functional.
- Earthing & Grounding: Set up and test proper earthing solutions to protect sensitive networking and server equipment from voltage spikes and lightning.
- Collaborative Deployment: Work closely alongside IT Network Engineers and CCTV Technicians to ensure power outlets and cabling are optimally placed for cameras, switches, and routers.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve standard electrical faults, short circuits, voltage fluctuations, and MCB tripping issues at client sites.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventive AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) checks on electrical panels, UPS batteries, and grounding points.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to local safety regulations and industry best practices during all electrical installations and repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in commercial, building, or industrial electrical work. Prior exposure to server rooms, data centers, or IT office setups is a strong advantage.
- Education: ITI Certification in the Electrical Trade or an equivalent electrical diploma.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
