The AI Adoption Hub is Infor's tool for sales teams to co-create industry AI adoption plans with customers, live in the meeting. You'll own the serverless backend that powers it on a modern AWS stack, with room to work across the full stack. It's a small, fast-moving, AI-first team where you take problems from definition to production with minimal direction.

Design, build and operate the production serverless backend on AWS — cloud functions behind an API gateway, a managed NoSQL data layer, request/schema validation, retry and idempotency handling, and structured logging.
- Build robust backend endpoints that power in-product LLM features — recommendation generation, semantic search, and seller-prep flows — with structured-output enforcement, concurrency control, and sensible cost and latency guardrails.
- Own backend reliability and observability end to end: define the metrics, alarms, and logs you actually page on, and make the difference between code that works in a demo and a service that runs reliably at scale.
- Manage the backend's cloud infrastructure as code and ship it through an automated deploy pipeline, so changes are reviewable, repeatable, and safe to roll back.
- Write and maintain automated tests across the service — unit, integration/contract, and automated end-to-end — and treat testing, version control, and CI/CD as part of how you ship.
- Contribute across the full stack as features span it, working in the React/TypeScript front end against a shared design system / component library when a feature reaches the client.
- Partner directly with product, design, and the field — translating seller feedback into shipped improvements, and explaining technical decisions and trade-offs to non-engineers, not just to other engineers.

Senior level: 5+ years building and shipping production web services, with real depth on the backend — end-to-end ownership of features, not just contributing tickets inside a large team.
- Strong Node.js (server-side JavaScript/TypeScript) — this is the primary skill we screen on.
- Hands-on experience building backends on AWS serverless (cloud functions plus an API gateway, or equivalent managed cloud services) — co-primary with Node.js.
- Solid backend engineering fundamentals: REST/HTTP API design, idempotency and retry patterns, concurrency control, request/schema validation, and structured logging and basic observability.
- Disciplined about quality and delivery: automated testing (unit, integration/contract, and end-to-end), Git, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD as part of how you ship.
- Has built and launched real products from start to finish. They can clearly describe what they built, who used it, and what they personally did.
- Uses AI coding tools every day to work faster, and can explain how they use them.
- Learns new things quickly. They can give an example of a tool or skill they picked up recently and used well.
- Works well on their own. They can take an unclear problem and move it forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Explains technical things clearly to non-technical people — here, engineers work directly with the product team and the sales field.
- Is reliable: follows through without being reminded, raises problems early, and takes responsibility for the result, not just the task.

Front-end / full-stack ability (React with modern hooks, TypeScript) so you can follow a feature across the stack — a strong plus, not required.
- Experience building features on top of LLM APIs against any major provider (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google, or similar) — structured-output enforcement, cost and latency guardrails; willing to learn is fine.
- Python in addition to Node.js, for backend or AI/data tooling.
- Familiarity with NoSQL / managed cloud databases.
- Infrastructure as code for AWS (any mainstream IaC tooling).
- Token-based / SSO auth (OAuth / OIDC / JWT validation).
- Event-driven and queue/streaming patterns; transactional email or messaging services.
- RAG patterns (embeddings, vector search, retrieval ranking) and basic LLM output evaluation — a small plus here.
- Familiarity with a design system / component library (web components a plus).
