Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Executive with strong knowledge of Modern Trade and E-commerce to drive our sales, manage key accounts, and build a strong distribution network. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling modern retail chains, supermarkets, and online marketplaces, with a focus on achieving sales targets and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sales in modern trade channels (supermarkets, hypermarkets, organized retail chains) and e-commerce platforms.
- Build relationships with key accounts, distributors, and online partners.
- Negotiate listings, promotions, and shelf space activations with modern trade outlets.
- Manage product availability, visibility, and timely replenishment across channels.
- Drive online sales growth by coordinating with major e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, etc.).
- Implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer engagement online and offline.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and share insights with the management team.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and prepare sales reports.
- Coordinate with logistics, and production teams for smooth operations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of sales experience in FMCG / Food & Beverages industry, with exposure to modern trade & e-commerce.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital sales strategies, and order management.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to travel as per business needs.
