About the Role
Boon (Swajal) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Executive to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process by conducting inspections, performing quality testing, maintaining quality records, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct IQC, IPQC, FQC, and Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI).
- Inspect fabricated parts, assemblies, painted components, wiring, plumbing, and finished products.
- Verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Perform RO product testing, including leakage, pressure, TDS, flow rate, and water quality checks.
- Test cooling/heating performance and electrical safety.
- Validate functionality of pumps, sensors, solenoid valves, and other critical components.
- Identify defects using quality inspection tools and techniques.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.
- Drive continuous quality improvement to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and audit documentation.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports using MS Excel.
Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in RO Water Purifier Manufacturing or the Water Treatment Industry will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Quality Control tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of the 7 QC Tools.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Measuring Tape, Multimeter, Pressure Gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Strong visual inspection skills for fabrication, assembly, painting, wiring, plumbing, and finishing.
- Knowledge of RO water purification systems and quality testing.
- Familiarity with RCA, CAPA, and quality documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
