Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with 4–9 years of experience in software testing, test automation, and test tool development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing and automation, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
The candidate will be responsible for requirement analysis, software validation, development and maintenance of test tools, automation of test processes, and supporting client deployments. Experience with software security concepts will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test scenarios.
- Perform software validation, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and system testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Develop and enhance test tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
- Perform hands-on mobile application testing and automation across relevant platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze test results.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and automation practices.
- Interact directly with clients to understand requirements, clarify issues, and provide technical support.
- Provide onsite support during site pilot deployments and initial production deployment phases.
- Support troubleshooting, validation, and testing activities during deployment and post-deployment phases.
- Prepare test documentation, reports, and validation results.
- Conduct training sessions and demonstrations for end users, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and adoption.
- Present technical findings, test results, and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
- Apply software testing best practices with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Knowledge of software security concepts and secure testing practices will be an added advantage.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Test Automation.
- Strong experience in Test Tool Development.
- Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing & Automation.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of defect management and test reporting processes.
- Knowledge of software security concepts is an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any engineering branch.
- Experience: 4–9 years of relevant experience in software testing, test automation, and test tool development.
- Experience in mobile application testing and automation is highly desirable.
