This individual will act as the critical liaison between business leadership, product management, engineering teams, program management, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic technology initiatives.
- Translate organizational and product vision into clear technology roadmaps, system architectures, and execution plans.
- Break down strategic objectives into actionable engineering workstreams.
- Drive alignment between business priorities, product strategy, and engineering execution.
- Ensure architectural decisions support long-term scalability, reliability, manufacturability, and business objectives.
- Define and govern system-level architecture across hardware, software, embedded systems, autonomy, communications, payloads, and ground systems.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical decision-making for complex multidisciplinary products.
- Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation strategies.
- Drive innovation while maintaining execution discipline.
- Serve as the primary interface between leadership, engineering, product, operations, manufacturing, quality, and customer-facing teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate execution across multiple engineering disciplines and external partners.
- Support customer discussions, technology evaluations, and strategic collaborations.
- Drive execution of large-scale technology programs from concept through deployment.
- Establish engineering processes, governance frameworks, and execution mechanisms.
- Mentor engineering leaders and technical teams.
- Build high-performance engineering cultures focused on accountability, innovation, and speed.
- Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to UAVs, aerospace, robotics, AI, autonomy, sensors, communications, and defense systems.
- Shape long-term technology strategy and capability development.
