Position: Primary Teacher (All Subjects)
Grades: I to V
To provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for primary school students, promoting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on students' progress and achievement.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Use a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance learning.
Foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
2. Classroom Management
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Establish clear expectations for behavior and discipline.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
3. Student Development
Support students' social, emotional, and personal growth.
Identify students who may need additional support and work with relevant staff and parents.
Encourage student participation in school activities and events.
4. Assessment and Reporting
Monitor student performance through regular assessments.
Maintain accurate student records.
Prepare progress reports and communicate achievements and concerns to parents/guardians.
5. Communication and Collaboration
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support personnel.
6. Professional Responsibilities
Participate in professional development activities.
Stay updated with educational best practices and curriculum changes.
Follow school policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Teaching certification/licensure (as required by local regulations).
Strong knowledge of primary education curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective classroom management abilities.
Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Working Conditions
Full-time position within a primary school setting.
May involve extracurricular activities, meetings, and school events outside regular teaching hours.
