Job Summary:
The Nursing Staff is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient health, administering medications, assisting physicians, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Nurses play a vital role in promoting health, preventing illness, and supporting patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and record patients' medical conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and healthcare needs.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid when required.
- Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients.
- Maintain medical equipment and ensure proper use of healthcare resources.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, B.Sc., or GNM in Nursing.
- Valid nursing registration/license.
- Strong clinical and patient-care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.
