The Role & Why It Matters
We’re looking for a Head of Storytelling & Content who can help shape the voice, storytelling, and cultural presence of Unbox Health. This is a high-ownership, early leadership role. You won’t inherit a large team - you’ll define the voice, systems, and creative standards, and grow the function as Unbox Health scales. This isn’t just about social posts and campaigns. It’s about building trust, shifting consumer behaviour, and redefining how India thinks about food, ingredients, labels, and safety.

Who We’re Looking For
Someone with 5–8 years of experience across brand, content, or creative strategy who:
- Believes in Unbox Health’s mission, and is passionate about all things health & nutrition
- Has worked in advertising, or has experience running and growing social channels and campaigns
- Is genuinely curious about what India is eating, drinking and buying
- Understands consumption culture, behaviour, and internet subcultures. Has a pulse on the internet - what’s trending, what matters, what sticks
- Loves the craft of content as much as the thrill of doom-scrolling for insights
- Has strong editorial judgement - knows what not to publish as much as what to publish
- Can balance provocation with credibility in a sensitive category like health
- Wants to build, not maintain; create, not copy
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work directly with the Founder to:
- Own the content engine: Plan monthly content calendars, campaigns, and experiments
- Build creative narratives that drive awareness, trust, and mindshare
- Grow and manage channels (Instagram, Youtube, Reddit & others as we scale)
- Lead creative execution across designers, writers, editors & collaborators
- Maintain consistency of tone, voice, quality and brand presence across all touchpoints
- Pitch & execute campaigns that spark conversation and consumer involvement
- Write & oversee long-form content (newsletters, website, educational pieces)
- Track performance & iterate based on data, engagement and behaviour shifts
- Spot collab opportunities and build relationships with aligned creators & internet communities This role is equal parts thinking + doing. Strategy + execution. Brain + craft.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 6–9 months, success in this role looks like:
- A distinct, recognisable Unbox Health voice across platforms
- Content that doesn’t just get views, but shapes opinions and sparks conversations
- Measurable growth in trust, engagement, and repeat consumption of content
- Campaigns people reference, remix, or argue about
- A content engine that compounds and doesn’t need constant pushing
Who Should Apply

- A D2C, health-tech, or consumer startup
- A digital/creative/content agency
- A scrappy team where you wore multiple hats
Please note: This is a hybrid role based out of Bangalore. We work closely, move fast, and value in-person collaboration. So you’ll need to be based in Bangalore or ready to relocate. Compensation is competitive and structured as a combination of cash and equity, calibrated to experience.
