Role overview:
The Placement Executive is responsible for leading the placement partnerships for the respective cluster.The role involves building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, ensuring effective job placements, tracking outcomes, and supporting beneficiaries in achieving sustainable livelihoods.
Your role in supplementing the Organisational goals:
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with potential employers, industries, and organizations to create a network of placement opportunities. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers, recruiters, and industry associations. Conduct employer visits, job fairs, and recruitment drives. Negotiate MoUs or placement tie-ups with potential employers.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on placement activities, outcomes, and impact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of placements, success stories, and challenges faced during the placement process.
- Advocacy and Outreach: Represent LCF in relevant forums, conferences, and meetings to promote the organization's placement initiatives.
- Prepare a calendar for the job drives and employer connect.
- Conducting employer due diligence before onboarding the employers.
- Support Center Managers to deliver a sharp focus on achieving successful youth placements.
Who we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a social work field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Placements or Corporate Relations, preferably in the social sector.
- Knowledge of employment and training programs, vocational education, and job market trends.
- Well-informed of labor market trends, employer needs, and best practices in career services.
- Strong partnership-building credentials with the ability to tailor style and methods when working with employers' and training partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in the English language is a must.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground-level problems
- Commitment to the organization's mission and a passion for education and training.
- Willing to travel extensively to and within project locations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stay on deadline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
