Job Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to ensure accurate builds.
- Perform precision mechanical assembly of shafts, bearings, seals, gears, motors, actuators, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances.
- Troubleshoot mechanical fit, alignment, and function issues, escalating complex problems to engineering.
- Document assembly processes, inspection results, and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or industrial technology.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, torque wrenches, presses, and measurement instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
