Position Overview
- Role: Quality Executive
- Location: Samy Industrial Estate, SF # 276/4, Ginning Factory Road, Irugur North, Coimbatore – 641103
- Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: Rotational Shifts (Must be willing to work in all shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- In-Process & Final Inspection: Conduct rigorous quality checks on raw materials, components during production, and finished modular furniture products.
- Dimensional Accuracy: Perform precise dimensional checks on components using manual measuring instruments.
- Defect Identification: Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming or defective materials to prevent them from moving down the production line.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed quality logs, inspection reports, and checklist documentation daily.
- Process Adherence: Ensure the production team adheres to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Root Cause Analysis: Assist the production team in analyzing recurring defects and implementing corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Measurement Expertise: Must be highly proficient in using and reading a Vernier Caliper and a Measuring Tape with absolute accuracy.
- Industry Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing setup (experience in wood, modular furniture, metal fabrication, or interior products is highly preferred).
- Technical Understanding: Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or manufacturing layouts.
- Shift Flexibility: Must be fully comfortable working in rotational shifts as per production schedules.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting cosmetic and structural defects (e.g., scratches, misalignment, dimensional variances).
