Role Summary
The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, and smooth functioning of the hostel. The warden ensures a secure, hygienic, and supportive living environment for students/residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day hostel operations.
- Maintain discipline and ensure hostel rules are followed.
- Monitor student/resident attendance and movement.
- Handle resident grievances and conflict resolution.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel premises.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, kitchen, and maintenance staff.
- Maintain hostel records, room allotments, and inventory.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities.
- Ensure safety protocols and emergency procedures are followed.
- Communicate with parents/guardians and management when required.
- Organize welfare, cultural, or recreational activities for residents.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Working Conditions
- May require staying on hostel premises
- Availability during emergencies and after working hours

- Hostel Manager / Principal / Administrative Officer
Salary Range (India – typical)
- ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month depending on institution, city, and experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,647.31 per month
