ScienceWithShobha is seeking passionate and qualified Math Tutors to provide one-on-one online tutoring to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
This remote opportunity allows educators to work from home while helping students develop strong mathematical foundations, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Role Overview
As a Math Tutor, you will conduct live online tutoring sessions and support students in understanding mathematical concepts across different grade levels. You will help students build confidence in mathematics by simplifying complex topics and creating customized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one online tutoring sessions for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12
- Teach mathematics concepts including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics
- Simplify complex mathematical problems and concepts for easy understanding
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on student needs and proficiency level
- Deliver interactive lessons using Zoom and virtual classroom platforms
- Assign and review practice problems, homework, and assessments
- Monitor student progress and help improve analytical and problem-solving skills
- Provide constructive feedback and progress updates to students and parents
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics
- B.Tech / M.Tech or related fields with strong mathematics background
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in teaching mathematics or online tutoring is advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
- Strong understanding of mathematics concepts across multiple grade levels
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in simple and clear terms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Patience and adaptability when working with students of different learning levels
- Basic computer literacy (training on virtual classroom tools will be provided)

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month
