We are seeking a motivated Explicit Dynamics Analyst with hands-on experience in LS-DYNA to join our simulation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of explicit finite element analysis, particularly in blast simulations and ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian) approaches. Exposure to Autodyn will be considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Perform explicit dynamic simulations using LS-DYNA for blast, impact, and high strain-rate events.
-
Implement ALE-based modelling techniques for fluid-structure interaction problems.
-
Pre-process, run, and post-process simulation results with high accuracy and attention to detail.
-
Interpret simulation results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders or clients.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problem statements, refine models, and validate results.
-
Maintain awareness of industry trends and advancements in explicit dynamics simulation tools.
Required Qualifications:
-
Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or related engineering disciplines (M.Tech preferred).
-
Experience: Minimum 1 year of practical, hands-on experience with LS-DYNA in explicit simulations.
-
Proficiency in setting up and analysing blast or high strain-rate simulations.
-
Familiarity with ALE methods for coupled fluid-structure problems.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex simulation models.
Desired Skills:
-
Exposure to Ansys Autodyn.
-
Basic knowledge of material modelling for metals, composites, and explosives.
-
Experience with scripting or automation for pre/post-processing (e.g., Python, LS-PrePost scripts).
Soft Skills:
-
Strong communication and technical documentation abilities.
-
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
-
Attention to detail and commitment to simulation accuracy
