About the Role
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Computer Science to develop, review, and enhance academic content for school and competitive exam levels. The SME will work closely with the editorial and product teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and curriculum alignment for Computer Science and IT-based learning materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality academic content, including chapters, exercises, question banks, activity sheets, and assessments.
- Review and edit manuscripts to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculums.
- Create digital learning materials such as presentations, worksheets, and computer-based activities.
- Ensure concepts are explained clearly with proper examples, diagrams, and logical structuring.
- Coordinate with editors, designers, and proofreaders to finalize content.
- Prepare solutions, answer keys, sample papers, and model test papers for Computer Science subjects.
- Stay updated with the latest curriculum changes, NEP/NCF guidelines, and technological teaching trends.
- Ensure error-free, student-friendly, and concept-oriented academic content.
- Support product development teams with subject expertise during book launches and training sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Strong conceptual understanding of programming, algorithms, data structures, networking, database management, AI basics, and computer applications.
- Ability to draft clear, structured academic content for school-level and competitive preparation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python / Java / C++ preferred).
- Strong command of English writing and communication.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in teaching, content writing, editorial roles, or computer science training.

- Experience in school book publishing or educational content creation.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and consistency in content formatting.
