About the role: As a Travel Consultant at Bookmytournow, you will play a key role in assisting clients with their travel arrangements. This involves directly engaging with interested customers, understanding their travel needs, crafting personalized itineraries, providing quotes, and ultimately converting leads into sales. Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation:Understand client preferences, budgets, and travel needs to propose tailored travel options and packages.
- Itinerary Planning:Design detailed, end-to-end travel itineraries including flights, hotels, activities, meals, and transportation.
- Booking & Arrangements:Book all components of the trip, such as flights, accommodation, rental cars, and tours, using specialized booking systems.
- Sales & Target Achievement:Sell travel packages and related services (e.g., travel insurance, visas) to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the travel experience, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Market Research:Stay informed about new travel trends, destinations, regulations, pricing, and safety measures to offer informed recommendations.
- Vendor & Supplier Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to secure competitive rates.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client payments, invoices, and travel bookings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Customer Service: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Sales Acumen: A persuasive and strong sales ability to promote and sell travel packages.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various travel destinations, their customs, and travel options.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use travel booking software, reservation systems, and CRM tools.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple bookings and tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues and handle unexpected travel-related problems or emergencies.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is preferred.
