Pharma Warehouse Fulfillment Center / distribution centers experience required.

Role Overview:
- The Regional Manager West will be responsible for end-to-end management of large-scale
- warehouse and supply chain operations across the West India region. The role demands strong
- expertise in pharma warehousing, regulatory compliance, multi-location management, and
- operational excellence, along with exposure to customer handling and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee multiple warehouses / large distribution centers across West India
- Ensure smooth daily operations including inbound, storage, inventory management, and outbound dispatch
- Implement best-in-class warehouse practices for efficiency, safety, and accuracy
- Drive space optimization and layout planning for large warehouses
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs
Pharma Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure strict compliance with pharma regulations (GDP, GMP, temperature control, batch
- traceability)
- Monitor cold chain management (if applicable)
- Maintain proper documentation, audits, and validation processes
- Handle regulatory audits and client audits
Inventory & Cost Control
- Maintain high inventory accuracy (near 100%) through cycle counts and audits
- Control inventory shrinkage, damages, and expiries
- Optimize warehouse costs (manpower, space, transportation coordination)
- Drive initiatives for cost reduction and productivity improvement
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead and manage large teams (warehouse staff, supervisors, managers)
- Plan manpower requirements, shifts, and productivity targets
- Ensure training, development, and performance management
- Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and accountability
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a single point of contact for key clients/customers
- Ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction
- Handle client escalations and issue resolution
- Coordinate with sales, transport, and supply chain teams
Sales & Business Support
- Support business development and client acquisition through operational expertise
- Provide solutions for new clients (warehouse design, costing, feasibility)
- Participate in commercial discussions and contract finalization
- dentify opportunities for revenue growth and cross-selling services
MIS, Reporting & Technology
- Monitor operations through WMS (Warehouse Management System) and ERP
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Track KPIs such as:
- Order fulfillment rate
- Inventory accuracy
- TAT (Turnaround Time)
- Cost per unit handled
- Drive automation and digital initiatives in warehouse operations
Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations
- Implement EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits
- Ensure fire safety, security, and emergency preparedness
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 10+ years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in pharma warehousing (mandatory)
- Exposure to large warehouse operations / 3PL / distribution centers
- Knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and automation tools
- Experience in multi-location handling and regional management
- Exposure to sales/business development is an added advantage
