Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections at the site.
- Monitor fire hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Inspect fire extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, fire alarms, and other firefighting equipment.
- Ensure firefighting equipment is accessible and properly maintained.
- Respond quickly to fire and other emergency situations.
- Assist in firefighting and emergency evacuation activities.
- Conduct regular fire drills and emergency mock drills.
- Guide employees and workers during emergency evacuations.
- Ensure emergency exits and evacuation routes remain clear.
- Monitor hot work activities and ensure proper fire safety precautions are followed.
- Conduct toolbox talks and basic fire safety awareness sessions.
- Ensure workers follow fire safety rules and procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, fire hazards, and incidents to the concerned supervisor.
- Maintain daily fire safety inspection and observation records.
- Check fire alarm and emergency communication systems regularly.
- Assist in preparing emergency response plans.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and removal of combustible materials.
- Monitor smoking restrictions and other fire prevention requirements.
- Support the Safety/EHS team during audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with the client and site team regarding fire safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company fire safety procedures and applicable regulations.
- Provide first response during fire emergencies until the emergency response team arrives.
- Maintain records of fire drills, inspections, equipment checks, and incidents.
- Identify potential fire risks and recommend preventive measures.
- Perform any other fire and safety duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
