Job Description
Pathway Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our diagnostic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting samples, performing laboratory tests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety in the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process blood, urine, and other clinical samples.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of test results.
- Follow quality control and infection control protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding test requirements.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and consumables.
- Adhere to hospital policies and laboratory safety standards.
Requirements
- DMLT, BMLT, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment handling.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
