Tractus is hiring for its Economic Development practice in a dual role combining trade and investment promotion delivery with business development. You will run Trade and FDI missions, build a client pipeline, and advise clients entering India and Asia.
- Plan and execute international trade missions, investment roadshows, delegations, and B2B meetings across sectors
- Identify and develop FDI and trade opportunities for global clients entering or expanding in India and Asia
- Generate leads and build a pipeline across EDOs, investment promotion agencies, trade bodies, multilateral organizations, and corporates
- Lead pitches, proposals, and client presentations that convert opportunities into engagements
- Conduct sector agnostic market research and produce client-ready reports, briefs, and presentations
- Advise on location strategy, partner identification, and go-to-market approaches
- Manage multi-country assignments and represent Tractus at industry events, forums, and trade conferences
- Proven experience in FDI attraction, trade promotion, and economic development
- A track record of executing trade missions, delegations, and investor engagement programs
- Demonstrated business development and client acquisition ability
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with a consultative and problem-solving mindset
- 6 to 10 years across economic development, consulting, trade promotion, or investment advisory, with exposure to EDOs, government agencies, or international clients
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, International Business, Public Policy, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred
- Fluency in English and Hindi or another Indian language. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, or Japanese are an advantage
- Entrepreneurial and commercially driven, with a strong execution focus and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
