About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling instincts, a good sense of pacing, and experience editing content for social media and YouTube.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and other digital platforms.
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and music.
- Create fast-paced, engaging edits that maximize audience retention.
- Color correction, audio balancing, and overall video enhancement.
- Collaborate with content creators and the creative team.
- Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Stay updated with social media trends and editing styles.
Requirements
- 1+ years of video editing experience (freshers with strong portfolios may apply).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual communication.
- Experience editing reels, shorts, podcasts, interviews, or documentary-style content.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and thumbnail design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with news, current affairs, documentary, or creator-led content.
- Knowledge of YouTube audience retention techniques.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools.
