Key Responsibilities
The Wells Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, validating, and maintaining critical well lifecycle documentation within the client's document management systems. The role ensures document accuracy, version control, compliance with naming conventions, and completeness of well records across multiple global locations

Collect well-related documents from engineering teams across multiple locations.

Review and validate document naming, numbering, metadata, and version control requirements.

Maintain document integrity within the client's document management system (TDSAP or equivalent).

Verify that well lifecycle documents are uploaded, classified, and archived correctly.

Track outstanding documentation and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure record completeness.

Support the creation and maintenance of well files and well books.

Ensure compliance with client document control procedures and quality standards.

Generate reports on document status, completeness, and outstanding actions.

Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders across global locations

Work Experience
Mandatory Skills:

Maintain document numbering and revision control systems.

Ensure only approved documents are issued for use.

Archive superseded and obsolete documents.

Verify documents completeness, formatting and ensure they comply with company standards and procedures
Technical Skills

Basic understanding of oil & gas well lifecycle processes.

Basic understanding of the below topics is essential:

Well Completion schematics

Well design documentation

Drilling technical documents

Geology & Geophysics documents
-
Familiarity with document management and document control systems.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting oil & gas, energy, or engineering projects.

Exposure to electronic document management systems (EDMS).

Knowledge of document control best practices and quality management systems.
