Audio Post-Production & Sound Designer — Unmukt Vani
Unmukt Vani is looking for an experienced Audio Post-Production / Sound Designer to work with us on Hindi documentary, storytelling, spiritual and narrative YouTube content.
Our primary requirement is to create a natural, emotionally engaging and professionally mixed audio experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with AI-generated narration (primarily ElevenLabs) and make the voice sound natural, warm and professional.
- Improve voice pacing, pauses, pronunciation, clarity, EQ, compression and overall presence.
- Select, create or arrange appropriate background music (BGM) according to the emotional flow of the narration.
- Ensure music supports the story without overpowering the voice.
- Use silence, ambience and subtle sound effects where appropriate.
- Create smooth transitions between narration, music and ambience.
- Handle final audio mixing and mastering for YouTube.
- Maintain consistent audio quality across different episodes and series.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in audio post-production, sound design, dialogue editing and mixing.
- Strong understanding of storytelling through sound.
- Good musical sense and ability to match music to emotion and narrative.
- Experience with documentaries, podcasts, films, storytelling or other narrative content is preferred.
- Experience working with AI-generated voices is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong attention to detail.
Important:
This is not primarily a video-editing role. Our existing production team handles the visual editing. We are specifically looking for someone who can take the narration and visual edit and create a professionally crafted final soundtrack.
We would initially like to work on a paid trial project/episode. If the collaboration works well, there is potential for ongoing freelance work with Unmukt Vani.
