We are looking for a dedicated Quality Line Inspector for our Traub Machining Department. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out in-process and final inspection, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspection on Traub machined components.
- Conduct final inspection before dispatch.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Measure components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure products meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Identify non-conforming parts and report quality issues immediately.
- Maintain inspection records and support production in quality-related activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures and quality systems.
Required Skills
- Engineering Drawing Reading (Mandatory)
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Basic GD&T understanding (Preferred)
- In-Process & Final Inspection
- Good communication and documentation skills
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector/Line Inspector in a machining industry.
- Experience in Traub/CNC machining inspection will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a production environment.
