Job Responsibilities
- Perform fitting and assembly work in the forging and fabrication shop.
- Handle fitting, alignment, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication activities.
- Work on forging components, heavy structures, machinery parts, and fabricated assemblies.
- Assist in welding and fabrication work as required.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Carry out machine and component assembly, alignment, and repair work.
- Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, drilling machines, and measuring instruments.
- Ensure proper fitting, alignment, dimensions, and finishing of components.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI Fitter preferred.
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Forging & Fabrication industries.
- Strong practical knowledge of fitting, fabrication, and welding-related work.
- Experience with heavy engineering components and machinery will be preferred.
- Ability to understand basic engineering drawings and measurements.
- Good knowledge of workshop safety practices.
