Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Crewing Executive to support crew management and deployment operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in crew coordination, documentation management, and compliance processes within the maritime or shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate crew mobilization, deployment, and rotation schedules.
- Maintain and update crew records, certifications, licenses, and employment documents.
- Verify validity of crew certificates, passports, visas, medicals, and other mandatory documentation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, joining instructions, and embarkation/disembarkation processes.
- Liaise with crew members, vessels, manning agents, and internal departments regarding crew requirements.
- Monitor crew availability and assist in crew planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, flag state regulations, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate databases and prepare periodic crew-related reports.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities for seafarers.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and documentation reviews as required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in crewing, maritime operations, shipping, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong administrative and documentation management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with maritime certification requirements and crew documentation processes.
- Experience working with crew management systems or maritime software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.
