We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to build, maintain, and optimize our website while ensuring excellent performance, security, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web pages.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
- Optimize website speed, performance, SEO, and security.
- Troubleshoot website issues and perform regular updates and maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Ensure website compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Maintain website backups and implement security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Experience customizing themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Experience with Git is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with hosting environments such as cPanel, Cloudways, or AWS.
- Understanding of website security and backup strategies.
