A Technical Support Engineer (Mechanical) provides technical assistance to customers, clients, or internal teams for mechanical systems, products, or machinery. The role blends engineering knowledge with problem-solving and communication skills.
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose mechanical issues in equipment, machines, or systems
- Provide solutions via phone, email, or on-site visits
- Analyze failures and recommend corrective action
2. Customer Interaction
- Assist customers with installation, operation, and maintenance
- Explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Handle complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
3. Product Knowledge & Documentation
- Maintain deep knowledge of company products of CAD-CAM-CAE PDM Software.
- Prepare manuals, reports, and troubleshooting guides
- Document recurring issues and solutions
4. Training & Guidance
- Train clients, technicians, or junior engineers
- Conduct product demonstrations or workshops
Technical Skills
Strong fundamentals in:
- Machine Design
- CNC-VMC Machine Part Mfg
- Familiarity with tools like:CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, NX)
- Understanding of industrial equipment
Soft Skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Clear communication (important for client-facing roles)
- Time management and multitasking
- Customer service orientation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
- 0–3 years (entry-level) or more for senior roles
- Internship or experience in maintenance/support is a plus
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
